It’s parent-teacher week and high school teacher Ms. Smith (Annie King) is getting ready for her last meeting of the evening. The next parent, Mr. Walsh (Seth Gamble), strides in and takes a seat, exchanging a pleasant greeting with Ms. Smith. She questions where Mrs. Walsh is, and Mr. Walsh sighs as he explains that she’s working, so she couldn’t make it. Ms. Smith gets the sense that this is a sore spot for Mr. Walsh, but she doesn’t pry further. The meeting goes excellently and Mr. Walsh bids her farewell, with neither noticing that he left his teen’s progress report in the class.
